Timber veneer, stone and joinery finishes

Resources

Materials & specification

Australian buyers check moisture resistance and emissions before they check colour. These pages set out what we build with, what we can document today, and what is still being confirmed with suppliers.

Timber veneer and stone finishes against joinery

Materials & Finishes

Most overseas cabinetry problems trace back to one of three things: a carcass board that was never moisture-rated, a face finish specified for looks rather than use, or an edge band chosen to save money in a wet area. We specify all three explicitly.

Hardware & Components

A door that drops after two years, a drawer that needs a shove, a hinge that rusts in a bathroom — these are not finishing problems, they are specification problems. Our standard fit-out uses soft-close hinges and runners throughout rather than reserving them as an upgrade.

Sustainability & Compliance

Compliance pages on factory websites tend to be a wall of logos. This one is a list of what actually exists today, what is being confirmed with suppliers, and where a project will need its own testing or documentation.

About the “to be confirmed” marks

Wherever a certification number, a test figure, a lead time or a minimum order quantity is involved, the page shows “to be confirmed” until the supplier or factory document is in hand. We do not publish estimated numbers. Once the document arrives, the figure replaces the mark.
